So we had a girls day yesterday and My Mom sister and I went to the movie. My mom's treat! Yes! But we went and saw "What happens in Vegas" Oh my goodness, this movie is so great! I think every couple that is thinking of getting married should see it and everyone that is already married should see it! You can relate to so much! And sometimes you want to pull some of the pranks they pull or say some of the things they say! But we were rolling with laughter! It was great! I so loved it! So this is just a great date night moive! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!!!

I found you ...TAG your it!

Yeah I got the "tag" so here it goes!

Each person has to list 6 facts about them
List at the end of your posting who you have tagged

1. I hate cleaning up after people, really it sucks. Well just mostly dishes. I have to wash them by hand and I hate that. I can't wait to have a dishwasher!!! Plus it takes up alot of time to have to hurry and wash them and try to take care of the girls. Yuck! I like to have a clean house, really I do but when people just leave crap cause I'm suspost to pick it up, oh talk about I go on strike! And then everyone suffers!!!

2. I'm so in love with country music and everything country. I can listen to other music and I enjoy it but there is just something about it that I love! My heart is really country! I love the city and playing I'm a city girl but there is just something about being out in the wild and under the stars and not seeing anything but God's great land that just melts me! I can't wait til I can wake up and sit on my porch and watch the sun come up and ... wow. Just amazing! I truely married the right man! He's so country ... I love it! He wants a ranch and horses and cows and everything that comes with it oh ya and land. So I'm all for it! It's gonna be so fun! It will take time but that's ok. Somethings are worth waiting for! Yes!

3. I love summer! Really I do. This might sound bad, but I'm glad I've not been to the temple yet, tank tops rock! I love just getting tan! Love it! Don't get me wrong I want to go to the temple way bad but I'm going to enjoy my tanks as long as I get! Plus I love laying out! And this year is even better cause the girls love, love, love playing outside, like ALL day!! So it's pretty nice! And camping in the summer is great! I so love camping and 4 wheeling and hiking and boating, what's not to love about summer?? Well sometimes the heat, but I can get over that. Summer is great! So excited to get out and camp and everything that goes with it!

4. I love to cook, bake, anything like that. I could sit and watch the Food Network all day! And the craft shows, honestly! I love them! I get so involved in them and think to myself! Hey I can do that! I love throwing parties and everything that comes with that! It's such a thrill for me, I call it my "high". So great! Such an addiction and gives me great ideas!

5. I can tune out crying. Really I can! It's so weird but even in the car. When both girls are throwing fits I can just not hear it. If other people are in the car they sit and talk to them and try to find out whats wrong, most of the time they just don't want to be buckled in. Sometimes its cause they dropped a toy or drink. And sometimes it's cause they are tired and about ready to fall asleep!! They are so funny. Brandon doesn't understand how I can tune it out but I just can. Even when I'm not driving. Crazy!

6. I love decorating, crafting, scrapbooking, ect. If I'm in a bad mood, or fighting with someone and I'll leave to cool off, guess where you can find me ... at a craft store. Really it's so crazy, one night I went to 4 different stores!(I was really mad) But it's just my element. My thearpy. My heaven! Weird but so true! I love making all kinds of crap, really sometimes I just make stuff to make it! But I love being able to get things for my house and decorate the girls room and mine and oh it's wonderful! I have a sewing machine and I don't remember how to use it! Like thread it and all! And I so want to use it! I want to make some quilts and blankets but I don't know how, one day I will. And I want someone to help teach me how to quilt and to that cool stuff! I love it! I will have a HUGE craft room one day just for my "crap" as my family and brandon call it sometimes!!! Ha ha ha ya sometimes it is just crap laying around but that's ok I still love it! Ooooo this makes me want to craft something.

Ok, so I finished, and I could go on but it said only 6 so sorry! But I have to tag 6 people, so:
1. Whitney
2. Jen L.
3. Kim
4. Jenna
5. Lindsey I.
6. Kristi

She be runnin ....

Ok I actually did, I did the Ogden City Marathon, well not the whole thing but I did the 5K. Which was so much fun! I did it with My mom, sister and brother Adam. The funny thing is ..... I didn't train for it!!!! Ya I ran it in 36 mins. Which was amazing for me! I swear it was going to be an hour, but well I guess I was faster than I thought! But I had so much fun and so did my family that we are going to be doing the Kaysville 5K on the 4th of July! Oh i think I've found a part time Hobby!!
But running that thing was nuts! I couldn't believe how many people were there! But my goal the whole time was to beat this one girl! Ha how funny is that? I had to stay ahead of her which was hard at times. But I stayed in the back, I had told my family I wasn't going to kill myself on this but enjoy it and just jog. So my mom was always in front of me and when she would start to do that fast walk thing and I would come up next to her I would be her buddy and stay by her side till she was ready to go again! It was fun and I'm so proud of her! For being 50 and doing her first race, she got 35 mins! Wow that is so cool! My brother what a stud! He finished in 25 mins! Wow that rocks and my sister finished in 30 mins! They did so good! It was fun but so cold where you start at, up at the Timbermine in Ogden, man that wind is freezing! And it was only 7 in the morning! Wow early! But running down the road to the finish line was so awesome! And to see my babies and Brandon standing and cheering Mommy on was awesome! Brandon was so proud of me and was just so excited for me! It was great!
But did I get really any sleep the night before ... no. I was so nervous it was crazy! I couldn't believe it. But now that I've done my first I think the others won't be so bad! But I'm going to train some more now for my next one! I'm so excited this is so much fun! Crazy, but fun! I'd like to work up to a full and a half and a 10K, so maybe next year I'll do the half, who knows. But if you ever want just something fun to do with your family I highly recommend this, cause you can walk it too! Yeah I've never really been a runner but this was pretty cool! Rock on for music also! I would have died without it! But I'll put up the pictures once I get them, they are on 4 different cameras!!! So to all you runners out there, this one is for you!
Here is the link to the site where they took my pictures and you can see me! My number was 8740 or type in my Last Name (watch the spelling) MANSCILL. Peace!

Surgery?

My Dad is amazing! I love him so much! He is such an example to me and just the greatest Dad ever. Well for the past year and half or so he's been having pain in his left shoulder area and he finally went and got a MRI or something like that on it and found out he had bone spurs. Very painful. Bad enough it hurt to hold my girls and to use it and sleep on it, just not good. So he went to two Doctors for there opions and what to do about it. Well he picked one and decided that today, Thursday the 8 of May 2008 he would have the surgery. So at 9 this morning he was getting his surgery. Well my mom called me to let me know what was going on and she told me that everything was good and they fixed somethings and he was still in recovery and they weren't able to go back yet, but then she told me that they had to cut off his wedding ring. I started crying on the phone. This just hits me really hard cause for those of you that know our family, my Dad hasn't been able to take his ring off since they were married, 30 years ago, 31 in June. But his fingers had grown around it so it really couldn't come off, he can spin it around but ya it was stuck. And it was just so hard to hear that they had to cut it off. I don't know why it killed me so bad, it still does. I guess I just always looked at it for strenght whenever something hard has come up in my life. My Dad didn't want to have it cut off but they said in order to do the surgery it had to come off. He was really upset from what my mom told me and she wasn't too happy about it either. She told me she had it in her purse and that for there Anniversary she would be getting him a new on. That is hard for me I guess cause I think of Wedding Rings as the start of something together with your other half. And so I don't know it's just weird for me. But I guess things like this happen. And I'll still look at the new one for strengh also. But my Dad will be in a sling for 6 weeks and he has to sleep in the recliner for awhile. But this is a good thing cause it was really painful for him and now he will be better!!! yahoo! I love my Daddy! He is my hero! Now get better soon!

Juno... who knew....

Ok so last night Brandon and I watched the movie Juno. I've been wanting to see it and he said that he would watch it with me cause I wanted to see it. And he did, I was very surprised, and he stayed awake the whole time too!
Anyways, I don't know why but I had heard alot about this movie from different people saying it was good, bad, dumb, etc. So I don't go off other people I have to see it for myself. Well I love the movie, not sure why but I do. In fact I was crying durning parts of it. Brandon would be like "Babe, don't cry" But I did and I think it's because I know how she felt in that movie! I so had some of the same thinking, people talking behind your back, people staring at my belly, etc. And I just knew what she was talking about when she "felt alone" like going threw it by herself not sure what to do. You get that when you have a kid out of wed-lock. Your not sure what is going to happen. But we knew we were going to be together so ... anyways, I just really enjoyed that movie. And I think anyone who is going to be a mom should watch it. You can just connect with parts of it, the waddle, the peeing all the time, the kicking, eating habits, etc. It's great. I will for sure now go and buy this movie. For those of you who haven't seen it, sorry, I would also compare this to Napoleon Dynamite, just the writing style and some of it, you like it or you don't. Really that is how I look at it. But ya, you never know until you see it! So I hope some of you will watch it!
