Christmas

So Christmas is over and so is Christmas Eve and some other Holidays that I haven't blogged about, but I'm only human and can only do so much! Kids take lots of time and so do husbands!! Ha ha I'm only hafe kidding about that!!! ;) Anyways I also just got my pictures unloaded onto this VERY SLOW new laptop we bought, ya it's way freakin slow at loading pictures for some reason, so anyhow ...

Christmas Eve! Oh what a wonderful day! We had so much fun we had dinner at my mom and dad's and it was oh so good! And then we had our Nativity after and then my parents did something new they bore thier testomines to us, so amazing! I love my parents, so spiritual. But then we all opened our new pajammies!! And it was so fun! The house was FULL of kids and love and laughter! I love it! So here are some picures of that, ( this may be a little bit long! Gonna get ya all caught up!)

My Mom got all us kids these boxes from Lehi Mills and it's all this breakfast stuff!

Here are the girls in there Jammies, I really don't like to match them but I just couldn't pass these up! They are so dang cute, and on the back of the robe it says "Yee Haw" So fun!!

Here we are opening our new jammies! This is one of my most favorite things! Look forward to it every year!! Who doesn't like new jammies? I wear my year round, I get really cold and they are very warm!!!

Here are all the grandkids, and soon to be grandkids, with our moose as the baby, hey we improvised! It's nice to have enough kids that we older kids just sit and watch it! Love it! They were so funny!!

My moms tree, so pretty!! And this is presents before Santa and the rest of the Aunts and Uncles added to it! It was great!

So that was christmas eve, and christmas day, WOW! Santa sure loves us or we have been EXTRA GOOD this year!!!;) We first went to my Mom and Dads house, we had to be there at 7:30 so we woke the girls up, they were asleep in our beds, no surprise here, well first having kids makes Christmas so much more fun, cause you get to "set stuff up" and do all that fun stuff, Brandon and I didn't go to bed, well fall asleep til like 3, we were both so excited! It was really funny, but we got the girls up looked at our stuff Santa left us and packed into the car and drove to my mom's where we had doughnuts and juice and waited for everyone to get there. And then all the kids line up, youngest to oldest and run into the room to see what Santa left! It was awesome! We had so much fun, the girls are at that stage where it's all exciting and they are starting to understand it all, they really get it now, Santa gives us lots of fun toys and clothes!! Well as they call him, Ho Ho. But we opened up our presents there and then headed back to our house, it was snowing and so perfect! I loved it! That was the only traveling we had to do that day! So nice! Then we opened up ALL of our gifts and the girls knew exactaly what to do, they got new pillows and pillow cases from santa so they sat on them and just started opening up! It was so funny, I loved it! I could do it every day it was so fun!! But Brandon and I also had some gifts under the tree as well, I so couldn't wait for him to open his!! He was really shocked at the things I got him, a new Carhartt Coat his been wanting forever, new cowboys boots that I LOVE! They are so HOT!! And some new clothes( I always worry when I buy him clothes so this year I got him some Cowboys clothes and he likes them alot, they aren't from Old Navy!!! Cowboys are funny that way!!) And then he had some great gifts for me as well, some new hoodies, so super cute sandles, and the perfum I've been wanting and it SMELLS AMAZING!!! WOW! And then last but not least, everything had been opened and Brandon was all what's that in the cornor?? Under those blankets?? And I looked and was like oh he has some more things hidden and so I go and take off the stuff and it's a big box with the sweetest note on it for his "beautiful and wonderful wife who he is so lucky picked him and gets to spend eternity with!" I'm of course bawling like a baby cause I know what it is and I didn't think I was getting one but I opened it up and it was my Kitchen Aid!!! Oh man it was so amazing! I've wanted one for so long and I finally got one!! Oh let the caking and making begin! I'm so inspired now to cook!!! But it was great cause just as we got all the paper picked up his Dad and Brothers and Sister had come over, and brought a TON of gifts! Oh man it was crazy!!! But so much fun!!! I loved it and so did the girls, they got these super cute Build a Bears I love them! I have them up on shelves in there room cause Hadley was taking off the clothes and I didn't want to lose anything! But then Brandons Dad just spoiled the girls so much! They got all kinds of things from him, bags and bags of things. And then we had a lunch with them and they girls took naps, they were so tired Hadley went a put herself to bed! And we started to watch a movie and they left in the middle of it and we tried to take a nap but couldn't so we just hung out til the girl got up and then picked up a bit more and started Dinner cause my parents were coming over to see what we got and have dinner with us! So I made some Chocolate Covered Strawberris to celebrate! They were yummo!! And that night we made a fire and we all fell asleep in the living room by it. It was so much fun! I love our families! They are the greatest!! I hope you all had as much fun as we did! And may the season always be in your hearts!!

Oh yes I almost forgot, the best part of the whole day! We stayed in our jammies all day! LOVE CHRISTMAS!! Love all of you, even if I don't know ya, say hi, I'm sure I've looked at your blog a time or two! Blogs are great! Merry Christmas to all and to all the count down begins again, 364 more days til I get to post about it again!!!

The "Twilight" experience!!

Twilight ....

Ok so I saw the movie tonight. I'll be honest I wasn't way excited or thrilled or really cared who played what part. I also kind of cheated and read a bunch of reviews. So I went into the movie, sorry for all of you fans, but I just don't get into movies and books to much that I have to clap and were shirts that support it, I just laught and look around at all the funny monkeys! PS to all my friends who do this I still love you all the same, this just doesn't "float my boat"

But I have never read the books. I haven't really talked about it with people, all they tell me is, "YOU'VE GOT TO READ THEM" ya ya ya. maybe one day I will but truth must be told, it just doesn't sound like fun to me ... even after seeing the movie.

So since I was problably the ONLY person in that whole audience that had no expections or visions in my head of things, or how something should be or what they should have put in or foucsed more on or not done this or that. I was suprisingly pleased with the movie. It held my addention, the scared me in parts, I "felt the love" and I just thought "Wow that wasn't all too bad" - Yes some parts were a bit on the cheese side for me but oh well what movie doesn't have a cheesey line in it?

I went to this movie with My mom, sister, sister in law, cousin, oh and my neice (ok so maybe 2 of us hadn't read the books, she's 10, but she wants too now!! Funny girl) And it was a nice evening out. We went to dinner after and it was just so funny to listen to them talk about it and oh he's important in this book

"She is so important for the next book"

"I wish they would have talked about this"

"They should have not foucsed so much on Bella and Edward"

and blah blah blah.

So I give you MY review of the movie from a "NON READER SIDE"

*** I enjoyed the movie. I liked how the actors kept my attention, I like Edward, I like Jacob (truth be told I leaned over to my mom and said, "So that is Jacob? I thought he was white!" Ha ha ha, that's what I get!!) But he was still cute. Edward was cute, I highly wish I could "Hang on like a spider monkey" and fly in the trees too! Wow that would just be fun! I loved the Cullen Family! They just rocked, I love the kitchen sceen! So funny! (Truth be told I also felt akward in that sceen!!) But the Doctor was cute! Loved his wife! And the kids were pretty sweet too! I loved the "black vampire" (sorry, I know I don't know names!!) he was pretty cool! I loved the fight sceen in the ballet studio, just totally different! I liked how you could also feel the sexual tendsion between Bella and Edward. Wow can you say I sometimes felt I soundn't be in the "room" with them!! As you can tell for someone who never read it, it was a pretty dadgum good movie!

So for all of you on "TEAM EDWARD" - Ya more power to ya!!!

And for all of you on "TEAM JACOB" -Ya more power to ya!!! (I hope I see more of him in the next film!!! {Don't worry my mom already told me he has a big part in it!})

So I say go and see it! Don't keep your hopes up if you have them set high if you have read the books, that is never a good thing cause there will be forsure a let down somewhere! They just can't fit a book into a movie, unless it's like a western or something!!

Anyways, my beloved "Twilight fans" I'll say this .... Wow! That is pretty fun!!

What takes up my time some days ....

So I've found a new love, besides my husband, kids, family, ect.

This is the site, www.thepioneerwoman.com

This is where I want to be one day!! Ha ha I know it's hard for me to even think about me being somewhere like that too!! But in all honesty that really is what I want!

Ok let me explain here. My friend Jenna had told me about this site and I just happen to forget and then ran across it. Anyways, as I've been reading about her and her family and life I just sit and gasp at everything! This is what I want! This is what we, Brandon and I, want. The ranch life! Oh my crap I couldn't believe it! And her and her "Maralbor Man" are just like Brandon and I!! It's kind of weird! But I love it, cause I now know that I can make it out in the boondocks of anywhere, she really is inspiring, you feel like you can do anything after reading it! Well i do! But it was just crazy! She was a city girl and married a cowboy, um .... well that stroy really does sound like someone elses I know!! ( It's mine and Brandons if you were having trouble thinging about it!)

So this is our new insperation, this is making us want our cattle ranch even more! Oh to see the pictures of there kids as young as 3 on horses bringing in the cattle! Oh man amazing and then just all the fun they have but she is still very ... um ... I don't know anything better to say than updated! Still "with it" I guess you could call it.

Anyways, for some of you that have wondered what the heck we are doing this is what we are shooting for. So now I have someone to look up too and follow. WONDERFUL! I love it! (Side note: Her husband is amazing, really read her love story with him, um yeah it's so unreal and wowing) So I just though I would share that with some of my fellow readers out there. ( I've been doing so good at posting lately! I'll reward myself with a Coke when i'm done) So there it is. My new love! I would love to met this people one day! Wow! Or atlesat see there ranch! Anyways, just sharing and I hope some of you will enjoy her also! She is very funny also! But yes yes, I want to get on our ranch faster and faster! Oh how I hate waiting ............

I've gone Country ... back to my roots ...

Ok so I admit that I am "Country" I love having cows all around me and the "long" drive out to our house and that I have to drive to church every Sunday and thursday cause it's not close enough to walk! But what I really love that my daughters are country! It's in there blood. I've not really taught them to love what I love or even like what i like, cause if I did i would not be watching kid shows all day!! But they have just all of a sudden taken a huge interest in "western" Hadley mainley.
Taylor will kind of do what Hads does but she is her own personality too and she also loves the country life!

But here is the main part of my story. Just a week or two ago Hadley started to talk .... alot more than usual. She is shy around people at first but she is getting better. And just out of the blue she sarted to say Cowboy to me. And it was cute and i didn't think much into it. Until Brandon and I one night decided to watch one of our favorite movies. And now it's a staple in the movie watching with the girls, more or less a rquest to watch it.

I love this movie for reasons like George Strait and the music. But all of a sudden my daughters have taken lots of interest in the movie. Hadley now comes to me and says
"Mommy I watch Cowboy Show"
And I will have to turn it on and she will sit and watch the whole thing. Well the best part is the other day in the car we were listening to country, do I really listen to anything else?? Anyways the song by Brooks and Dunn called "Cowgirl Don't Cry" came on and Hadley started to sing it!! It was the cutest thing I've ever heard!! She says it so cute too! She will say Cowgirl and Cowboy and I love it! She will come to me and say "Mommy I want Cowboy hat" and her and Taylor will both have to put on there Cowgirl hats, but they will sit and watch the movie like that!! It's so cute and funny! I love having cowgirls. Hadley the other day to my mom on the phone told her that "she marry cowboy!!" Oh my I was laughing so hard! It was very random but so dang cute nd my mom was all, "your gonna marry a cowboy? well we'll have to see about that" Oh man she was laughing it was so cute! It's a wonder people have kids cause they really do say the cutest things!!

So to this post I'm letting my kids know, you can still love the city, trust me I still love the mall and going to Downtown Salt Lake, but keep your roots! Nothing feels more like home to me than the 10 to 15 mins I drive to get home from the freeway and passing all the fields and how the houses are spread out and seeing horses and cows all over the place. How my neighbors and I are separted with fields and no one lives accross he the way from us. Just a field, that now has cows in it! Ha I just can't escape them!! But it may seem far, but it's really not that far! It's just wonderul! And I love it! I love being able to stay home and be a mommy to the best girls ever. What a wonderful blessing that is to our family. We are truely blessed even in this time of worry and hardache, I really do have to count our blessings. And I'm so glad we are self employeed! I fear for what we might be like if otherwise! Anyways, just thought I would share what I've been up to the last couple of days with us. It's so fun. I can't wait till they are a bit older but right now I take each day as it comes! Thanks girls for givin me something to laugh about everyday! Even when you do wake one another up from naps, or in the middle of the night, I love to have to still cuddle with me. Um .... speaking of getting woken up .... someone just woke some one up! I'll chat later!
PS I'm still working on the picture thing too! I haven't forgotten!!

One ... Two... Three ...

Oh goodness So much has been going on, where to start? First off our computer has some kind of virus or something so we bought a laptop and I love it! But the only crappy part is all my pictures are on the other computer!! But I have loaded some onto the new machine! So I'll get some up! But life has been going so good! Oh we are just moving right along and it's a wonderful feeling. I just know that Satan is working his hardest with us right now, but we are fighting threw it! We are on the way to go to the Temple and it's such a wonderful feeling. But that is when he will work his hardest on you, at least that is how it feels to me. But I love my calling! The ward we are in the Youth are so amazing! I look up to them. They have such strong spirits it's crazy! I taught my first lesson to the laurals and I was a baby - serious I was crying at everything! Ug, it was such a hard topic for me too! The one on Loving Yourself and Others. Ya I swear that lesson was more for me than them! But I did feel better the next Sunday when one of the girls gave her Testimony and she talked about what I had said. So I know that someone took it into there lives!!! Otherwise I never want to leave! I love hanging out with the girls and getting to hang out with the leaders! I so can't wait for Camp! We have already joked about some of us there! So this is wonderful! And I'm feeling like more of the ward too! That is a bonus too! But the ward is amazing! And I know we will meet every one in time! So that is that, I'll keep ya posted on the temple too!
The girls have been so much fun lately! With Halloween they were so funny! Hadley is talking so much more and she says the funniest things! They were Fairies for Halloween and they looked so cute. But honestly I just couldn't decied what they were going to be. The last two years I've had it all picked out and this year I just wasn't feeling it. I would like something one day and hate it the other. So hopefully this is the only year I'm like that!! Ha ha we'll see! But we had a good time anyways. We went to my mom's school carnival and had a blast there, spent alot of time at the fishing pool!! And then of coures the slide they have every year! It's great! And the Soda game - the ring on the bottle! I've always won and did again this year also!yes I rock! But I love taking the girls to the school to show them off! I've known everyone since my mom has worked there and everyone that is new gets to know us also and they love to see the girls so it's great! And good perks too! But for Halloween we went to our old ward in kaysville - my parents ward- and did the truck or treak and made out like bandits - seriously that has to be the best idea ever! In like 20 mins you get all the candy that you would in about an hour!! And it's not freezing! I can remember so many Halloweens with Jenna and we were so cold! Ug! But now it's super quick! After the kaysville we went to our wards Trucnk or Treat and man can I just say they know how to do it in Hooper! We got dounts and apple drink and people bring horses dressed up it's so awesome! Oh yeah did I mention that it's in a field too? You just park right in the field! It's so funny! I love it! Can't wait til next year - we are already talking about what we are going to give out and what we are going to have in the truck and decking it out! Ya it's sweet!
Brandon has been keeping really busy. With the mowing season done and the Christmas Lights ahead it's just crazy! It's nice to have him home for a bit longer in the mornings and home earlier at nights! It's hard but it's good. So if you know anyone that doesn't want to get on the roof to put up the lights and then take them down, give us a call and we'll see what we can do! (We joke that we rise our lives for lights!! Ha ha! Crazy!)
The girls are good. They have started to play with each other more with out mom right there! They are so dang cute! taylor has 2 more teeth to break threw and I'm done with teeth coming in! FINIALLy!! thought that would never end! But we are starting to potty train both girls!! What a treat for mom! But it's still on the up and down stage! Hopefully it will get going faster! But they are doing so great I love these girls so much! They have the funniest personalities! They are so different and so much the same its amazing! They are so fun! And wearing the same size clothes! If I let them!! Hadleys are still a bit too big on tay but she trys! I can't wait til they get older and I just have to buy like two colors instead of two different sizes! But the hand me downs have been nice, they are still in style! Can't ask for better than that! But they are super good and nursary is becoming less of a chore on sundays, they are starting to stay and only cry the fisrt 5 mins or less! I love it!
But otherwise things have been good. I'm kind of bummed cause I've been trying to find THanksgiving decor and haven't been able too! It's nothing but Christmas! So I'll just have to look harder or faster or earlier next year!! I am super excited for Thanksgiving! I get to have it at our house! I get to be the mommy that cooks everything and works so hard just to have it done in about 30 mins!! But I can't wait I'm so looking forward to it! I love it! Nothing says Family like cooking and Thanksgiving! I'm also really excited cause I'm almost completely done with Christmas Shopping!! I have my things saved for Black Friday but for the most part finished! I'm so just going to cook for the Holidays!! Oh ya and relax! But anywho. There is a bit of an update and I'll chat later!

News News News!!!

Oh man I should be punished for not updating!! I get on everyday (just about) But I suck at writing!! Well to start out let me fill you in on what we have been up to this last month!!

First off we got some cows. 2 to be exact. They are so fun! I can't believe I have cows that is crazy! And to add to our "funny farm" we also added 3 chickens! So ya we have a good time out here! The cows are unnamed due to the fact that we are raiseing our own beef, I don't like to name things I'm going to eat, it's just kind of creepy! And the chickens are for fresh eggs! They are good. So it's pretty fun.

Second I'm so excited to have all of the holidays come! I've already got the house ready for fall/Halloween! I love being able to decorate! The house is looking great! We are still missing a few pieces of key furniture ie entertainment center ( we did buy one but it didn't fit our TV, the area was told to us wrong! Ug!) So we are still in the hunt for one, that still matches our front room. But I did take pictures! So I'll post those for you also!!

Third, I got a calling!!! Yahoo! I can't believe it! I swear they were going to put me into Nursery but no I'm in with the Young Woman! I'm in the Laurals! Oh I'm so excited! I told Brandon on the way to the church, I've always wanted to be in Young Womans or Camp! Cause all us girls know that those are the best! So with Conference this weekend it won't be until the next Sunday that I'm "offically called" But the Young Womans Pres is suspost to be comming over to "visit" so I'm super excited. They said there are only like 5 girls in that class, our ward is lots of older couples, the primary is like 30 - 40 kids, not very big. So it's going to be so much fun. I'm really excited and nervous too. But it's all good. The only sad part is that mutual is on Thursdays. I'll have to miss the Office?! Bummer! But oh well.

Fouth, I'm going to be an Aunt again!! And it's not from who we thought it would be. My sister Jenny is having a baby! I can't wait! It's going to be a girl, that is what I keep telling her!! I need another niece! We joke that me and her are the only ones in the family reprudcing! One day my brothers will jump on the wagon but not soon enough for me! But her baby is due in April. So we have told her the days that are taken already, the 13 (taylors) the 19 (my grandpas) the 20 (my father in laws) the 21 (hadleys) Gees what a busy month! The funniest part is she always said my kids will be so grown when I'm 40 that I won't have any worries blah blah blah. Well we told her that is what she gets for saying that! That she was done and all that. So in 3 years she will have a 16 year old and a 3 year old!! Ha ha ha ha!! Too funny! Luckily for her, we will be trying for another near the end of the year, so cousins will be close to play!

But that just about sums it up! Things are going pretty good for us. Just getting over colds or whatever is going around. The girls have been kind of sick and so have I but Brandon hasn't gotten anything. So who knows what is going on!? But I'm excited for the weekend and for Conference! And sad cause Brandon is going to be gone Elk Hunting with his Dad. But oh well the joys of marriage! I'll post those pictures too!

With
the 7th Anniversary “TODAY”…... We all
need a reminder...

MEET ME IN THE STAIRWELL

'MEET ME IN THE
STAIRWELL'

You say you will never
forget where you were when

you heard the news On September 11, 2001.

Neither will I.

I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room

with a man who called his wife to say 'Good-Bye.' I

held his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the

peace to say, 'Honey, I am not going to make it, but it

is OK..I am ready to go.'

I was with his wife when he called as she fed

breakfast to their children. I held her up as she

tried to understand his words and as she realized

he wasn't coming home that night.

I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a

woman cried out to Me for help. 'I have been

knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!' I said.

'Of course I will show you the way home - only

believe in Me now.'

I was at the base of the building with the Priest

ministering to the injured and devastated souls.

I took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven. He

heard my voice and answered.

I was on all four of those planes, in every seat,

with every prayer. I was with the crew as they

were overtaken. I was in the very hearts of the

believers there, comforting and assuring them that their

faith has saved them.

I was in Texas , Virginia , California , Michigan , Afghanistan ...

I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news.

Did you sense Me?

I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew

every name - though not all know Me. Some met Me

for the first time on the 86th floor.

Some sought Me with their last breath.

Some couldn't hear Me calling to them through the

smoke and flames; 'Come to Me... this way... take

my hand.' Some chose, for the final time, to ignore Me.

But, I was there.

I did not place you in the Tower that day. You

may not know why, but I do. However, if you were

there in that explosive moment in time, would you have

reached for Me?

Sept. 11, 2001, was not the end of the journey

for you. But someday your journey will end. And I

will be there for you as well. Seek Me now while I may

be found. Then, at any moment, you know you are

'ready to go.'

I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.

What more can be said? God Bless America and God Bless Our Troops!

My Sweet Sin

Ok so I love Coke, mostly Diet Coke, when I was pregnanent with Hadley for the last 4 or 5 months I would drink it like mad at work, at least one a day, sometimes 2. But some of my friends may know that back in High School we would go down to the local Chevron and get drinks and I would add Vanilla Surp to it! Wow devine! I still do it! But my new love, is this,

WOW! Is all I can say. I'm so in love with this drink! And it's a Zero meaning no CALORIES!! Yahoo!! Like I'm way worried about those anyways not but still it makes me feel better knowing that it is somewhat healthy!! Ha ha!! But really the after taste of the vanilla is wonderful! It's so smooth and really refreshing! I can't even discribe it!? Oh man it's wonderful! I so highly recommend that people try it. Cause it's like it's Coca-Cola but it's not, really weird I know but so true. I'm still a true diet coker but if this is avaivable I will most diff go for it. I do add the vanilla surp to my diet coke too! Ya I know but so good! This is my sweet sin, I'm so in love with it. My mom has it at her house and that is almost the first thing I go for there I have a frig case in my house and ya it's wonderful! For any of you Coke drinkers out there, I'm sure I'm not the only one. I so say try it cause it's great!!!
