Surprise Gifts Rock!!!!

Well just when I thought my husband couldn't get any better he goes and does this.

Met the newest members of our family Blake and Jake!! They are brothers. And as I'm asking about them Brandon tells me that they were the last ones in a litter of 6 and he couldn't take one and only have one left, so he decided that EACH girl needed one (yes, needed one, my 1 and 2 year old needed a cat!!!) But they are so cute and Taylor is so funny with them, she freaks out and has to see them all the time! It's so funny! Hadley is just content with them and will pet them every now and again but she is good with them! I love them! I couldn't believe it! We have pets, and not just one, but two! Brandon said, well we are going to be buying a house so this will make us forsure get our own place!! Ha ha ha, like this was a real push to get our own place!!! What a funny kid! But he loves his girls and so he had to get two boys! I think he is starting to fill left out!! But he is cute with them! He named one and I named one. Jake is the one with more white and Blake is the one that is more brown. They live in the basement right now and they get to come upstairs while the girls are asleep! They are so funny! I miss having a cat! The more gray/white one is more mine, he reminds me of my last cat that I had for 20 years! So yep, my husband sure loves his girls! What a funny dad! Welcome Summer

Yahoo! It finally came! And now it's nice and HOT! But here is some of the summer fun we've been having:
Fathers Day
Well, let's just say, don't order your fathers day gifts online! Mine came the Tuesday after fathers day! Sorry Brand! But he still loves what I got him! He called it his "Cowboy Fathers Day!!" Funny! But I got him the Chris LeDoux Box Set he's been wanting! And 2 movies 8 seconds (I cry everytime!) and Pure Country! That is what I get for marring a cowboy!!! But I love those things too, so it's a toss up!!! Oh ya and he bought himself and new CD for Fathers Day too! It's George Straits new one and it's ok not my most favorite, but it works.
Summer Days
Well my sister has a pool at her apartment/townhouse so we hang out at the pool. Nice for the tan, but sucks having kids and the pool! Hadley will go and play with the other kids, either in her floaty or they will hold her (Travis is way taller than the 5 ft, it's nuts) but Taylor, oh man she like the floaty for like 5 mins likes to be held for another 5 and then she wants you to dip her in and out of the pool or hold her by her arms and put her half way into the way so she can climb with her feet on the wall! She is very stubborn! (That is so from her father's side!!) But otherwise it's pretty fun! They do have a good time and the girls even have cute little tan lines! Funny! Don't worry I do sunblock my kids, maybe not myself but them yes. (I have pictures of all of this, but I got a new camera for mothers day and I still haven't loaded the CD for it! I know I'm a slacker!!!I'll do it today!!! Plus I still have some on the other camera too!)
Home
Well we aren't here too much, for one the landlords that own this place don't care about it so everything is going to crap! We have a swamp cooler (whoever invinted this didn't think it out very well!!) But we can't put the water on to "cool" off cause it leaks into the house! Ya totally sucks! So it gets nice and stuffy and hot! We are outside or thank goodness for Jen and her house, she has AC!!! So we hang out at her place!!! I've just set up the girl's pool, I lost the plug that held all the air in it! And had to ask some kid at Ace Hardware for something that would hold the air! What a joke! So that is all fun but the girls like to step on the sides and let the water out! Oh man, then this afternoon I asked Hadley what she did with her plate of food, she threw the whole thing into the POOL!!! UG! Plate and food! (for some of you that are going to have kids, this is something you get to look forward too!) But my girls so LOVE hot dogs! It's so funny! They will walk around with one and eat it as they play! Weirdos! That is from there Dad's side too!!! But because my honey is self employeed and the boss he has late hours, leave home by 7 am return home by 8 or 9 pm! Ya I know! (I'm gonna blog about this one too!) But we eat dinner at my sisters house which is pretty nice, we all chip in some for it all and we eat after we get home from the pool. Oh yes the number one thing that I love about summer time, my children are so tired at the end of the day! That they just crash! Amazing! Sometimes as early as 9pm! That is great!!!
Weekends
Well weekends are mostly family days, Saturday and Sunday. We spend with Brandon. And lately it's been at family reunions or up in the mountains! It's so fun! The girls love the outdoors! We haven't gone camping yet with them, but everything else oh yes. We've done the smores thing, wow that was messy but a blast! And there favorite 4 wheeling. They love to get on a ride! It's so in the blood! And we've been up to see Brandon's dad alot. So we look forward to weekends. Oh yes, I try not to give away too many of our "finds" but this one is too good to keep! So how many times do you go to parks and find that stupid bark or whatever and your kids want to take there shoes off and play? And you wish there was sand? We have found our "beach" and it has swings! Like real swings! It's in Mt Green and it rocks! There is sand a play toy swings lots of nice grass water and tables! Oh it rocks! The girls love to go! They play in the sand and love it! We bring sand toys and our umbrella from our table that we stick in the sand! We really feel like we are at the beach, minus the ocean and the hummity! But it's so fun! Totally worth the drive, plus the kids fall asleep on the way to and from sometimes!!! So great time for ma and pa! Those are our weekends so far!!!

Well I'm going to put up the pictures cause they are amazing! And so fun! I can't wait to see what else we do this summer!!! Oh yeah, did I mention I LOVE SUMMER!!!!??? It rocks!

Moving!!! Ya not so fast

Ok so as some of you know we were moving, yes were. Well here is the story I hope you don't get pissed like I did.

Well it's Wednesday the 4th of June, we are going to sign papers to move in get keys ect. Super excited and the guy (who will remain annonomous (sp?) so people don't egg his house or something wrong like that) calls us and asked if we could come over at 9 instead of 8. So we agree and are like of we will finish eating and pick up ect. So we pack everyone in the car, telling the girls we are going to our new house, we are going to be moving, blah blah blah. Well Brandon and I are so excited we pull onto 200 N and head West! Yahoo moving to west kaysville! Over the new bridge we go pasted the park turn and turn again. Well we pull up in front of the house and people are outside, grandkids we think. It was an older couples house. So we ring the door bell looking around and what we need outside and how fun it's going to be and the guy comes to the door and we come in, stand in the entry way and pretty much stay there.
He starts to ramble about something that is embarrassing or something (we are thinking because it took so long for them to finish there new house and all that crap) well anyways, (here is the super annoying part!!!!!!!!!!!!) The guy pretty much sold the house from under us. The people that were renting the house while they were on there mission had built a house and had just sold it and wanted to buy theirs. So he told them that he already had renters for the house and then they said they would give him above market value for it (they must of really liked the house) so he decided to do what was in his best interest. So he "felt bad" so he was going to match our deposit oh wow thanks pal. I'm at this point confused tryin not to cry holding my child and we leave. Put the kids in the car seats and Brandon saying well I didn't like the house too much anyways, so it's ok. I'm running wild with emotion and I buckle up and start crying my eyes out. I was so looking forward to moving and having our own place and just starting our family. And now my dreams had been taken away again!!!!! So Brandon is still trying to tell me that it's ok it wasn't ment to be we will find something else, it wasn't that great of a place blah blah blah! And I'll I'm thinking is " It was a great yard lots of room in the house, a good place to raise the girls, it's a safe town, close to the freeway close to everything else and now I don't know what to do, we'd seen lots of good rents come and go because we were waiting for them to close on there house and being really good and cool about it and then he throws that at us. Oh man for the next two days I was so pissed the house went to hell cause I just didn't care and was so mad. And then I had my "come to Jesus meeting" and I was ok, still hurt and upset but oh well what can I do about it now.... nothing.
SO now we have decied to give us 2 months to find a house to buy, and if a good rent comes up before then we will take it otherwise we are buying a house, I don't want to have to deal with you can't do this or this or this or that crap that guy told us. So there it is, sorry for all of you who were excited for us to move to West Kaysville and stay close and all that but now I'm not sure where we will move too! Honestly I told Brandon I don't care too much what town I move too. I'm just so mad! Grrrrrr! So hopefully something will come up that is for us.
But here is the funny thing, on the 2nd I drove by the house and I looked at it and thought, ug maybe I don't want to move there. And on my way home I said Lindsey you can't think like that, so don't drive by again!!! And I didn't then on the way to sign in my head came the thought, I wonder what would happen if we just didn't show up! Can you believe it!!!!????? I was actually preping myself for what was coming. It's like God knew and was trying to tell me ahead of time. But silly me, I told myself nonsence. So anyways, that is the story with that. Ben and Jerrys and me are still good friends, Brandon went and bought me some, I took a couple bits, but I really only like it when I'm happy! Ha isn't that funny!!! So......

Where did Summer Go?

Ok its June 5th and it's FREEZING! It's been rainy and cold and this is weather we get in the spring, not summer!? Ug this is such a cramp in the family! The kids stay inside, and make even bigger messes they want to go outside SO bad but can't. It's a joke! Who prayed for rain? Ug! I want to go swimming and play outside with the girls! Not sit at the window and look out! The girls look like the two kids from "The Cat in the Hat". They have this bench that is under one of our windows and they both stand and look outside! It's so funny! But so hard! This is the hard part about being a Mom, when you want to go outside and so do the kids! Someone really should write a book on "Watch out for this as a Parent!" Oh ya we are also in jeans and hoodies! Whatever! I should be in my swim suit sittin in the kiddie pool with my girls!!! Grrrrr! (As you can tell i'm so upset about this!)
