One....Two....

Ok ok I know I'm a slacker on writing, but I have been a bit busy, but not really. But I wanted to talk about the girls birthdays. Oh my heck they were so much fun. And I have to give myself props! I did so good on the invites and cakes and planning everything out! Wow, alot of work but so well worth it! I love doing this kind of stuff, as I told Brandon, I'm in my element with this! I was in the zone baby (while saying this you have to put you hands next to your face and point them stright and have a serious face!!) But Taylor turned 1 on April 13, 2008. And she was a doll! So freakin cute and so fun! She is such a big girl, she is trying to do things that Hadley does and it's so fun to watch! It's amazing how much faster the second does things than the first! But for Tay's party I had hers themed to be LadyBugs, and I made her a ladybug cake, it was really good. (I think I'll go into the cake business!!) But we had my whole family over and Brandon's family over and then our "boyfriends" across the street came over and it was fun we sang ate cake opened presents and just had a really good time. We played outside cause it was a nice day, oddly enough since this April has been full of wierd weather! But it was so fun! Hadley and Taylor then share the same age for 7 days and Hadley turned 2 on April 21, 2008! Wow a 2 year old, and let me tell ya they have the cute days and then they have the days were you look at them and say 'that's not mine" jokingly of course but they can get mean! But Hadley's birthday was on a Monday so we had her party the following Sunday the 27. And her's was a blast! We had it down at Barnes Park in Kaysville and it was such a nice day! The baby ducks were out and it was so fun! There was tonz to do, basketball, football, the playground, my sisters kids brang rollerblads and skooters, and the "ripstick" and we had a BBQ. So it was fun! Hads theme was Flowers and Gardens. And I had so much fun thinking of how to do her cake, I swear I changed what I was going to do 10 times. Serious. But I came up with cupcakes in the shape of a flower in the "garden" (dirt - pudding and oreos- so yummy) But all in all I still can't believe that my girls are so big! They can pretty much wear the same clothes and the only thing they can't share right now is shoes! lucky me!
But the girls are great they play with each other and have such a great friendship building already. I'm so glad I had them this close. They don't have any cousins that are there age so it's nice cause they will always have someone to play with. I would recommend this to people, it might seem nuts but really it's such a blessing, we are thinking of doing it with our next ones too. They just always have a friend and I like that. I love my girls. We also took them to the doctor, the same day appointments and they both got shots, oh man. That was so funny! Cause one would stop crying and the other would start up crying and then they would stop and the other would start, so funny! They are dolls! I love them dearly! I can't wait til we get into our home, cause they have awesome toys from the parties but we can't put any up yet! So it will be fun! Kids are great! They may seem like lots of work, and some days they are (go look at my front room and my kitchen floor! And the never ending pile of laundry!) But I wouldn't trade it for the world! Happy Birthday Girls! 2 and 1!
Who would of thought I would have a 2 and 1 year old?! Not me! I'll put up the pictures I got taken at the store when I get them back, but for now you can see the parties!
